At the start of a new year, life is full of possibility.
The days grow longer, reminding us there’s hope.
The chickadees sing their spring song, looking forward to the time of mating and new birth.
Our resolutions and dreams remain vibrant, unstained by the pall of disillusionment.
This time of year reminds me that to everything there is a season.
A season to take some time, recover, and address items that might have been overlooked in the fullness of summer.
A time to make progress on items that were earlier pushed aside.
This time of year reminds me that all things are possible, with enough time and hard work.
This time of year I recommit to living my life and accomplishing my goals, however long that takes.
I love this time of year.
