Spring is here!
Time for the bunnies to chase each other so they can make more little bunnies.
Time for the frogs to come up out of the mud and start singing their song.
Time for the snakes to wake up and sunbathe in the middle of the trail.
Time for the birds to sing so loudly it wakes me up in the morning.
Time for the plants to turn green and come alive.
Time to start planning my summer trips!
I just finished the mad dash to fit in all of my winter activities while I still had winter-like conditions. From February through mid-March, I was out of town for 4 of 5 consecutive weekends. It seems I finished just on time. I don’t normally experience temperatures in the mid-70’s in March. In fact, this year’s March weather has been more similar to June normals. It is hard to believe that at this time last year I was downhill skiing and marveling at frozen waterfalls.
I am excited.
I am excited about the weather. I am excited about the longer days. I am excited about my future.
I am excited to plan trips.
At the beginning of March, my husband and I brainstormed all the trips we want to fit in during the summer. The list was pretty long. We normally try to plan things so that we have every other weekend in town as recovery or prep weekends. The list is too long for that this year. I fully expect that this summer will have a time period as busy as my February/ early March. Seasons are short, especially periods of peak conditions for that season. I need to take advantage of each season while I can. I am excited.
Spring is a time for new beginnings. So, here is a new website, a new blog, and a new career as an adventure romance author.
It is time to move, do!
It is time for fun.
So, what adventures are you planning?

Hi,
I love the Website, and your sense of adventure! You should plan a trip to western Wyoming and the Windrivers. My home stomping grounds. Plenty of adventure and outdoors there! Your enthusiasm and excitement are contagious. Happy travels!
